Law firm decides to keep XP over upgrading to Vista
Stephenson Harwood, an international law firm has decided to keep using Windows XP on its computers rather than upgrade to Windows Vista. The firm decided this was best in order to maintain compatibility with its existing suite of applications.
Chris Petrie, director of IT at the law firm said there are many applications that law firms use specific to the legal system that do not support Vista. Some are working on Vista compatible versions and some don’t seem to care.
