NSW Department of Education chooses Windows XP over Vista
The Australia NSW Department of Education and Training announced that the department has made its decision to standardize its computing environment using Vista’s predecessor, Windows XP Professional.
The standardization project is a four years plan which will give schools and TAFE colleges some 100,000 new computers, Stephen Wilson, NSW Education’s chief information officer said.
Some NSW schools and TAFE students are scheduled to receive new desktop computers in the succeeding months.
