Microsoft Shares Rise; Outlook Eases Vista Concerns (Update2)
April 27 (Bloomberg) — Shares of Microsoft Corp. rose after
the world's biggest software maker reported a 65 percent jump in
third-quarter earnings and forecast sales that may exceed
analysts estimates for the next fiscal year. The stock advanced $1.08, or 3.7 percent, to $30.18 at 9:30
a.m. New York time in trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The
gain was the biggest in about eight months.
