US Department Of Interior getting ready for Windows Vista

The US Department of the Interior (DOI) issued a bulletin notes that the department will adopt the high-end Enterprise Edition of Windows Vista, which contains a number of advance security features. This declaration came while some major federal agencies are having second thoughts about internally deploying the Windows Vista on their computer.
With more than 70,000 PC users, technology officials of the department appear set to migrate to Windows Vista operating system. Hord Tipton, chief information officer of DOI, states a bulletin issued last month that purchased Microsoft platform computers must be capable of running Windows Vista.
